Power and control combo

So far so good~ It had a wonderful grit when I first received the paddle and although it "feels" like it's subsided a bit, it still provides an awesome spin to my shots! The paddle was a tad light for me, but I added a few weights, and a different wrap on the handle, and I'm super stoked! Price was awesome too. My other paddles were upwards of three hundred and this was about 120.00!!

This paddle feels natural in my hands and has noticeably boosted my gameplay.

I love the Maverick Co… Not only are their paddles great but the willingness to satisfy customers is top notch . I first bought a demo paddle to try out ( The Havik Power) and liked it so much I bought the Havik Pro. That was my favorite paddle until someone walked off with it! So I decided to try the Clash Pro out ( and I got it in just a few days) and now I love that one ! It is quick, responsive, allows for great spin, but at the same time easy to control. I am also a tennis player so hit with a lot of top spin and slice. When I tell my friends the price I paid for it they can’t believe it ( I got it 50% off).. There are a handful of players at my club who use the maverick paddles and are equally as pleased. I appreciate the small family business and look forward to their new release! Plus… the Havik paddles are named after his daughter… doesn’t get much better than that!

Now with over two dozen different paddles for experimentation, I have stopped trying out paddles. This particular Maverix model has been my daily play paddle for a couple of months now. This paddle feels natural in my hands and has noticeably boosted my gameplay.

I play with this paddle & love it. I recently purchased another Clash Pro for a X-mas gift. I believe this paddle will help her play.

3rd time I’ve purchased this model - I’m not switching. I’ve found it to have exceptional power, spin, control, and sweet spot. It’s just a nice paddle that works for me.

Of the 12+ paddles I have, this is the one for me. As a hard hitter, this paddle helps with control and does not affect my power.

I have tried the majority of all the Maverix paddles and I love all of them. My favorite ones are the Havik 15 Pro & Pro X but this Clash 15 Pro is awesome too; I love the amount of spin I can generate with this paddle. Love the Brand/Motto, the look and the feel of the paddles; I bought pretty much all the gear and when my pickleball family/friends ask why I don’t use other brands I say it’s because I am a loyal person and why do I need to switch up when I consistently beat everyone who has all the other brands that people say are way better? It’s not always just the paddle, sometimes you gotta Swing Different. I also don’t modify any of the paddles at all I play with them as is, why change the paddle when it’s already a masterpiece! The only thing I do is add a rubber band with my son’s name on it :). Love the shirts and hats as well, I also use them for when I go golfing.

Keller/Raw carbon blend face, it delivers a lot of power on drives, serves and smashes, it tends to launch drives well. Even the face blend plus textured surface helps with spin somewhat better than plain carbon. It delivers pop well, have fun with powerful hits but the paddle is less forgiving, so resets/dinks/drops will require clean contact and good touch. Anyway Clash 15 Pro is a very good power plus control paddle, I like it very much.

This is a very good paddle. I’ve shared it with friends and many have also grabbed a Maverix. Found these folks because they make the best tour bag available IMHO. Glad I tried the Clash, looking forward to all the new stuff coming down the pike

This paddle has great power and feel; its also durable. I think the price is too high if you want the masses to get it but that’s just my thought. I talk to everyone about it.

Today was my first time using the Clash 15 Pro, fell in love with paddle, it had more pop and very good spin, and I still had control as if it was a 16mm, didn’t feel a difference in control using the 15 Clash, I thought I would, I recommend this product to beginner advanced players who want to step up their game, it’s my primary paddle going forward, even my son-in law noticed the spin and pop this paddle had.

I tested out 4 paddles: the Havik Pro, Clash Pro, Havik All-Court and Clash All-Court. All 4 paddles came packaged very nicely, snuggled in foam cut outs with paddle covers on and nice info cards included. I will say that if you are used to playing with 16mm paddles and have over-grips and/or weights set up on all of them, a brand new paddle straight out of the box does feels strange to just unwrap and jump into a game with. My initial thought was that all 4 paddles felt really light and noticeably thinner. The swing weight and twist weight felt lighter, although the manufacturer specs revealed they were basically the same as the specs as my usual paddles. I had lightning quick hands today! I tried to not factor in the feeling of the factory stock grip and weightless set up when judging them. In full transparency, this review is based off of only about 2-3 games per a paddle model. Havik Pro- The Havik pro is a good looking paddle right out of the box. It has that sleek carbon fiber/kevlar look and the surface is super gritty providing excellent spin. I would rate the power of the Havik pro at about an 8 and control 6.5. In contrast, I would reverse those numbers for the Havik "all-court". The extra power is noticeable in the Pro but nothing that is hard to control like gen3/4 power paddles. I could easily adjust my game to adapt to the "Pro" or "All-court" within one games time. The Havik pro looks great, has great spin, good power, and has enough control to easily shape shots and soften up when up at the Kitchen. Clash Pro- Both the Havik and the Clash pro play very similarly but I think the difference will come down to preference of face shape and weight distribution. To me, the Clash feels a little bit more even weight distribution throughout the paddle, while the Havok has weight more in the head of the paddle. The Clash Pro performed just the same as the Havok Pro, with maybe slightly less Power from the back of the court and slightly more control and touch. The spin was just as good. All in all, very similar to Havik pro minus the face shape and slightly different weight distribution. Havik All-Court The Havik All-court keeps the same paddle shape as the Havik pro with similar weight distribution concept, however you will notice a little less power from the back of the court and on put aways. However, you will notice you have more control, touch, and accuracy when trying to place the ball or shape shots. The All-court paddles, in general, provided more consistent play even though the have slightly less power, pop, and spin. Perhaps slightly bigger sweet spot in the middle of the paddles as well. Clash All-Court The Clash All-Court performed very well for me. I was the most consistent with it and I think I even preferred the face shape and weight distribution, opposed to the Havik All-court. I preferred the soft touch, consistency and accuracy of placement of the Clash All-court versus the Clash Pro. Although the Clash pro has maybe a tick more power and Pop, I do believe the Pro did have noticeably better spin. Sometimes when buying or testing paddles I find that the paddle that is crowned a company's Flag ship or most expensive paddle isn't always the one that matches or fits my game the best or....provides me the results and outcomes I want. As much as I wanted Maverix most expensive, most powerful, best looking, sexiest paddle to be the one that performed the best for me, in this small sample size, that was not the case. It actually was the Clash All Court that I played better with. Going from the Pro to the All-court you lose a little bit of power but gain way more accuracy and control. I do not need an extra help generating power so that is an easy tradeoff. Crazy thing- the paddle finder quiz on the Maverix website actually told me that would be the paddle for me. So there is that! Summary- Any of the 4 of these paddles could be easily adapted to any persons game. All 4 were very similar in performance and have easy playability. None of them are extreme on one end or the other. I wouldn't consider any of them a "Power" paddle or a "Control" paddle. I am sure within a few weeks I could adjust and get used to the Havik Pro as my everyday paddle. No matter which of the 4 models I choose to play with, I would for sure add an overgrip and maybe some weight in certain spots, mainly just because I would want to get it as close to what I am already use to as possible. I am no Pro, but I play competitively 2 or 3 times a week at a level that fluctuates between 3.5-4.0. I have played with all the flagship paddles of the top 6 brands. Hope my feedback helps someone. Love the Clash 15 Pro! Have been playing with it since last December. The combination of control with the soft game and pop that I need is just right. Great paddle and priced well below so many others.

Great paddle!

Great balance of pop and control with no weight added. Also insane spin can be produced. If you add 3 grams of tape to each side in the mid section of the paddle it really boosts the forgiveness level and gives the paddle a more solid feel which I like.

Great presentation/delivery box. Protects the paddle really well. Paddle plays well, controllable shots yet with some power as well. All in all a great all, court paddle for beginners to intermediate players.

The spin has baffled my opponents. Very comfortable and easy to handle. Love the "POP"

Wow wow wow. Now I know why this paddle won the paddle of the year. The power is perfect. Not too poppy yet it has a ton of put away power. The sweet spot is still really forgiving making resets effortless. Love this paddle

As I’ve just really started playing with it both in doors and outdoors I’m still getting the feel of it I put weight on it for some extra pop but the spin factor is awesome control is good as well though may have to add some extra for sweet spot and stability I’ve had 14mm paddles and wasn’t happy with it I even tried a 18mm which was so so 16mm is my go to so as of now I’m happy with this 15mm and look forward to busting up my rivals lol

Played with the Clash 15 Pro over 20 games so far. It is quick to maneuver and provides easy hand speed for me and I'm 70 years old. Paddle has plenty of pop and power. My control is getting better the more I play. Need to see how long this paddle lasts for me as my last Kevlar .(different brand) lasted 3 months.

The Clash 15 Pro is hands down the best paddle I’ve ever played with. From the very first game, I noticed how much spin I could put on the ball—it felt effortless. The design and colors is what first interested me in the Maverix paddles. I bought the Havik 15 first and now the Clash pro. The paddles are solid for power, finesse, and high level spin. I honestly believe I’ve played my best pickleball with these paddles and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to up their game.

Just got the Clash Pro 15. Have only used it once so far, but was a super easy transition from my 6.0 Double Black Diamond. Immediately I noticed the extra pop and power and after playing for about an hour, quickly adjusted and didn't feel like I was sacrificing touch or feel with my soft game either. I am excited to continue playing with it for sure.

Longest lasting paddle I've ever used. Most paddles I've used only last around 2 months before they start feeling dead and as if they have no grip. I've been using the Clash 15 Pro for over 3 months now and it still feels brand new. Great grit, tons of power.

The Clash 15 Pro quickly became my go-to paddle. Right out of the box. Even without weights, the forgiveness is something like a complete control paddle. However, it provides power, pop, and a great grip on the ball with the kevlar face. Even with all of these things, the dwell time on the face and control you can feel with your shots is really what stood out to me. I want to feel like I can adapt to a paddle quickly, and tune it in from there. For the price, and quality of this paddle, you really won't find anything better.

The clash 15 is a great pro level paddle. The Kevlar and carbon fiber face is a top tier surface that gives you plus spin and power.

This paddle is great. Love how the power creates an opportunity for a more aggressive game but at the same time have a ton of control to keep a dink rally going.

Clash pro has great pop and power without minimizing the sweet spot too much. Off center hits are not too jarring in the hand and I feel I can still control the ball very well!

I love my Clash Pro. I can't believe how much of a game changer the 15mm core is. I've tried many of the 16 and 14 hybrids out there and the Clash is the perfect blend of power, pop and control. It's so good, at least six other people who've tried mine bought their own! Thanks Maverix.

Everyone is looking for that perfect paddle that combines pop, power, control, handspeed, spin and a large sweet spot without making sacrifice in other areas. This paddle is a true goldilocks paddle. While it's not in the top 10 for any one thing it does everything very well. This is comparable to the chorus shapeshifter but in my opinion this paddle is better. The reason it's better comes down to ball feel on contact, the softer core gives a great feel and reduced vibration without giving up pop and power. So it feels good and offers a touch more control. Also Similar to an Engage Pursuit Pro MX, but with a bit more control, a larger sweet spot, and less power.

Much like the Clash all court this paddle is forgiving…..but with a slightly different core and the Kevlar weave it’s got more power and pop to it! Of the whole Maverix lineup, I find myself going back to this one more and more. Please make a pro X version, Matt!

I appreciated receiving my paddle within the same week ordered. The packaging presentation was impressive - arrived in a sturdy box with the paddle well protected and a letter thanking me for my purchase. I was delighted that the paddle came in a cover/case - was unexpected. Sharp looking paddle. I’m enjoying playing with it - solid shots/good control. Not sure if my game has improved much, but I think that’s more on me than on the paddle. Overall, very happy with my Maverix paddle and would recommend to others.

I love my Clash 15. The only thing I miss is the raised ribs on the handle like on my previous Maverix paddle. Other than that, I love it.

Great paddle, love the 15 mm to be able to put away more balls but still have the control and spin with the kevlar weave.

The best paddle I've ever try. It has power, good control, It's very maneuverable in my hands, allowing for quick and precise shots. This is definitely the right choice if you are looking to make your game much stronger. I improved big time as I got used to this paddle super fast as it allows you to do so. Power, precision, pop, fast hands, everything I was looking for was found in this paddle.

Super good control / little bit less power, big sweet spot. Added a little bit of weight on the bottom to make my flicks stronger. Kevlar made the paddle feel super consistent, and the spin was really good. 15 mm made everything attackable while keeping the control perfect
