Maverix Havik - 15 Pro
The Maverix Havik - 15 Pro is not a true control paddle, and it is not trying to be. It sits in the middle of what we would consider in 2026 to be a modern power paddle and a more traditional control paddle.
We would rate the Havik - 15 Pro at 6/10 power and 7/10 control, making it a great option for players who want more offense, pop, and hand speed without jumping into a paddle that feels too head-heavy or difficult to control.
What makes the Havik - 15 Pro unique is the way it is built. This paddle is designed to remove weight from the head and redistribute it into the throat, which helps lower swing weight so the paddle feels faster through the air, while also increasing twist weight to make it feel more stable on contact. The result is a paddle that feels quick in the hand, easier to accelerate, and more solid through the ball.
This makes the Havik - 15 Pro especially attractive for players who want a paddle that can help them speed up their hands, generate power, and still maintain a forgiving, stable feel across the face.
It is especially well-suited for a player who has been playing for around 6 months or so and is ready to progress into something with a little more pop and put-away ability, but still wants confidence in their resets, drops, and overall ball control.
Like the Clash Pro, one of the standout features of the Havik - 15 Pro is the feel at contact. Because of the paddle’s construction, you can really feel the ball sink into the face, giving it a more connected feel while still producing plenty of pop, spin, and finish power when you need it.
The result is a paddle that feels modern, fast, stable, and easy to grow with. It gives developing players access to more power and pop, but in a way that still feels controlled and playable.
Who it’s for:
Players looking to step up from a more basic paddle into something with more power, more pop, and high-level spin, while benefiting from a paddle design that feels faster swinging and more stable than many traditional power-focused paddles.

Havik 15 Pro — All Court Paddle with Balance of Power + Control
I had been eyeing this paddle for a while and had planned on buying one to make some content on and Matt was kind enough to send over one for me to review and it quickly became my go-to paddle. The paddle is a solid power paddle but once you get comfortable with it you should not have any issues with the soft game. It has a snappy feel even though it is an elongated face it doesn't feel sluggish in the hands at all. As I say in my video, it gives me a confidence that I hadn't felt in many paddles previously. As of writing this I have been using the Havic Pro for 8 months as my main paddle and it had held up wonderfully and still feels just as good as it did out of the box. Also side note, it did not have any noticeable break-in period either. What Matt has done with Maverick is a breath of fresh air, thanks Matt!

Had used the Havik-16 Power for the past year and recently purchased the Havik-15 and Clash-15 Pro. Haven't played a ton with them yet, but first impressions are great. In nearly 10 years of competitive pickleball experience, I've used most major brands (Paddletek, Selkirk, Gearbox, Onix) and none have any better feel or performance for me, a solid 4.5 player, than Maverix paddles. No need to spend big $$$ on the name brands.

I’ve been using the Maverix Havik-15 Pro and 15 Pro-X paddles for about two months, and they’re truly awesome. They’re very easy to get used to, and I noticed an improvement in my game almost instantly. The paddles deliver excellent power and spin, especially when serving or driving the ball. I’ve also felt an increase in my swing speed, which I believe is due to the paddle’s aerodynamic shape. The unique design not only performs well but also catches attention on the court — several players have approached me to ask about it, and many who tried it were impressed by its performance. In addition to power and spin, the paddle offers great control and precision, giving me confidence in every shot. Overall, I really love these paddles and highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve their game. Big thanks to Maverix for providing such high-quality paddles at a great price!

Joola Pro iv killer. The pro iv controls the player. The Havik Pro.. the power, control, pace and shape this paddles technology provides unlocks a new type of game. I thought I needed a pro iv to keep up. Turns out, I just needed to swing different with a Maverix Havik 15 Pro

I tested out 4 paddles: the Havik Pro, Clash Pro, Havik All-Court and Clash All-Court. All 4 paddles came packaged very nicely, snuggled in foam cut outs with paddle covers on and nice info cards included. I will say that if you are used to playing with 16mm paddles and have over-grips and/or weights set up on all of them, a brand new paddle straight out of the box does feels strange to just unwrap and jump into a game with. My initial thought was that all 4 paddles felt really light and noticeably thinner. The swing weight and twist weight felt lighter, although the manufacturer specs revealed they were basically the same as the specs as my usual paddles. I had lightning quick hands today! All 4 paddles have longer handles than average which is good for big man hands or 2 handed swings. I tried to not factor in the feeling of the factory stock grip and weightless set up when judging them. In full transparency, this review is based off of only about 2-3 games per a paddle model. Havik Pro- The Havik pro is a good looking paddle right out of the box. It has that sleek carbon fiber/kevlar look and the surface is super gritty providing excellent spin. I would rate the power of the Havik pro at about an 8 and control 6.5. In contrast, I would reverse those numbers for the Havik "all-court". The extra power is noticeable in the Pro but nothing that is hard to control like gen3/4 power paddles. I could easily adjust my game to adapt to the "Pro" or "All-court" within one games time. The Havik pro looks great, has great spin, good power, and has enough control to easily shape shots and soften up when up at the Kitchen. Clash Pro- Both the Havik and the Clash pro play very similarly but I think the difference will come down to preference of face shape and weight distribution. To me, the Clash feels a little bit more even weight distribution throughout the paddle, while the Havok has weight more in the head of the paddle. The Clash Pro performed just the same as the Havok Pro, with maybe slightly less Power from the back of the court and slightly more control and touch. The spin was just as good. All in all, very similar to Havik pro minus the face shape and slightly different weight distribution. Havik All-Court The Havik All-court keeps the same paddle shape as the Havik pro with similar weight distribution concept, however you will notice a little less power from the back of the court and on put aways. However, you will notice you have more control, touch, and accuracy when trying to place the ball or shape shots. The All-court paddles, in general, provided more consistent play even though the have slightly less power, pop, and spin. Perhaps slightly bigger sweet spot in the middle of the paddles as well. Clash All-Court The Clash All-Court performed very well for me. I was the most consistent with it and I think I even preferred the face shape and weight distribution, opposed to the Havik All-court. I preferred the soft touch, consistency and accuracy of placement of the Clash All-court versus the Clash Pro. Although the Clash pro has maybe a tick more power and Pop, I do believe the Pro did have noticeably better spin. Sometimes when buying or testing paddles I find that the paddle that is crowned a company's Flag ship or most expensive paddle isn't always the one that matches or fits my game the best or....provides me the results and outcomes I want. As much as I wanted Maverix most expensive, most powerful, best looking, sexiest paddle to be the one that performed the best for me, in this small sample size, that was not the case. It actually was the Clash All Court that I played better with. Going from the Pro to the All-court you lose a little bit of power but gain way more accuracy and control. I do not need an extra help generating power so that is an easy tradeoff. Crazy thing- the paddle finder quiz on the Maverix website actually told me that would be the paddle for me. So there is that! Summary- Any of the 4 of these paddles could be easily adapted to any persons game. All 4 were very similar in performance and have easy playability. None of them are extreme on one end or the other. I wouldn't consider any of them a "Power" paddle or a "Control" paddle. I am sure within a few weeks I could adjust and get used to the Havik Pro as my everyday paddle. No matter which of the 4 models I choose to play with, I would for sure add an overgrip and maybe some weight in certain spots, mainly just because I would want to get it as close to what I am already use to as possible. I am no Pro, but I play competitively 2 or 3 times a week at a level that fluctuates between 3.5-4.0. I have played with all the flagship paddles of the top 6 brands. Hope my feedback helps someone. -Jared Mitchell, Central FL My Ratings **Havik Pro: 8 Power/Pop 9 Spin 6 Control/accuracy 9 Looks **Havik All-Court: 6.5 Power/Pop 7 Spin 8 Control/accuracy 6 Looks **Clash Pro: 7.5 Power/Pop 9 Spin 6.5 Control/accuracy 9 Looks ** Clash All-Court 6.5 Power/Pop 7 Spin 8.5 Control/accuracy 6 Looks

This is easily my favorite Maverix paddle! While this paddle has more power and pop than control, I was shocked at how easily this paddle was able to drop and dink, and even more surprised at how quickly it takes to dial in. This paddles plays extremely out of the box and does not require added weight to be a beast.

I’ve tried a lot of pickleball paddles and I can honestly say my Maverix Pro 15 is my favorite by far. It provides great control, good spin and plenty of power when needed. I added a little tungsten which increases the sweat spot. And the unique paddle top configuration allows me more time to react to speed ups and drives.

Fantastic paddle- the sweet spot really opens up with a bit of extra weight at the throat. Great power, pop, and control.

This is a really stunning paddle- the grey and Kevlar/carbon surface give it a wicked look on the court. The paddle offers great spin and control, making my game much stronger! You don’t see many 15mm yet- but this offers a perfect blend between power and control. A nice touch is that they include weights to customize it- so it really is the whole package.

The Havik - 15 Pro is exceptional in every aspect of the game. I was a little hesitant when first trying out this paddle because I only used a control paddle, but I’m happy to say that I didn’t sacrifice any control but gained a TON of power. Truthfully, it feels like I picked up this paddle and instantly started winning! 🥇🥈🥉🏆 10 out of 10 recommend!

I've played with this paddle for about 4 months now and I love it. Other players in my club have also played with it and have had the same reaction right after their first game with it. This is an all around great paddle from my experience. It has it all: power, control and spin at a reasonable price.

These paddles are amazing! The havik 15 pro and the all court and both absolutely stunning. Coming from a 16mm control paddle from Selkirk, these paddles are exactly what I needed to get what was missing from my game! More pop, and no control sacrificed! Great work on these paddles! I can’t wait to keep tearing up the courts with these bad boys!

It's my current main paddle. It does the job you need without injuring your arm. At the rate I'm using it. Maybe replace in 6 months or more.

Wow....I am speechless with this paddle Havik 15 Pro...I played doubles outdoors at Newtown Park in Atlanta. I was in tears at the way my game improved from 4.0 to 4.5 and absolutely confident in reaching my 5.0 goal by end of this year. I will be recommending this paddle to all my YMCA Buckhead ATL pickleball members at my clinics and private lessons. I will highly recommend this paddle to all of Atlanta pickleball communities to improve their pickleball game instantly and tremendously of course with the right techniques...this paddle is a beast at POWER, SPIN, CONTROL, DINKS, VOLLEYS, HAND BATTLES WON AT ALL TIMES, SERVE 100 MPH WITH NO RETURNS FROM OPPONENTS!!! I am in LOVE ❤️ with Kevlar technology combined with raw carbon fiber. These amazing results are straight out of the box and I can't wait for my 5.0 CIBC Atlanta Slam PPA Men's Doubles tournament at the end of the month because this Havik 15 Pro gave me the confidence that I finally needed to compete at the highest level. Thank you 😊 🙏 💓 MAVERIX & Matt Miller for your innovative pickleball paddle that has changed my pickleball journey forever. GOD BLESS 🙌

The Havik-15 Pro offers a boost in both control and power that I love and attribute to the carbon fiber/Keblar blend face and 15mm core. It is a reliable option and great evolution of the Maverix Havik shape.

Great paddle!! It has great power and spin. Everything you need in a paddle. Handle is long enough for a 2handed backhand. Awesome looking Kevlar paddle. It had the power of an elongated paddle but with the quickness and control of a hybrid paddle. If you prefer the hybrid shape the Clash15pro is another great paddle.

I've tried every paddle under the sun and this is BY FAR the best paddle I've ever played with. I was able to dial it in immediately and performed incredibly well for playing with a new paddle. The resets on this thing our out of this world. The blend of touch and pop are really noticeable and the patented shape really does help you swing faster. I am so quick at the net with this paddle in firefights and just overall at the kitchen. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Absolutely love this paddle. It’s got the right amount of power, control and fast at the line. I was using a Ruby before and also a Persius and this paddle completely has outperformed both of those so far. The size is perfect. It’s not to stiff like a 14 and not so unpredictable poppy like a 16. Great feel in the kitchen when dinking. Very happy with my purchase so far!

I used the Havik 15 Pro for the first time tonight. Have to say I’ve used a lot of paddles and this is one of my favorites for sure. Control is significantly better than I anticipated but you can still crush the ball. Also worth acknowledging this company has the best paddle presentation out of any of the other companies I have seen! I purchased the Havik 15 all court and can’t wait to try that one out as well!
